Gridiron Greats is a non-profit organization providing financial grants and no-cost medical assistance to dire need retired NFL players from a forgotten era.
We focus on the humanitarian side of post-football related issues, which includes the coordination of social services to retired players who are hurting - physically, emotionally and mentally.
Our mission is to assist these retired NFL players who were pioneers of the game and who have greatly contributed to the NFL’s status as the most popular sport in America. Gridiron Greats provides hands-on assistance to help dire need retired players and their families deal with hardships they face after football.
Since 2004, Gridiron Greats has provided no-cost medical and psychological assistance to more than 2,500 dire need, retired NFL players from a bygone era.
